Dates for Dean playing 'Raoul' in Love Never Dies!

Dean has very kindly given us some dates to put up that he will be playing the lead role of 'Raoul' for which he is currently first cover! Well, he actually gave them to us a while ago - apologies for the delay in posting them up!

Dean will be playing the role on the following dates:

Thursday 6th, Friday 7th and Saturday 8th May 2010
Monday 9th to Wednesday 18th August 2010

Love Never Dies Previews begin & Dean features on behind the scenes Youtube video!

Following weeks of rehearsals Love Never Dies has opened at the Adelphi Theatre, in London's West End for it's preview period!

Dean is starring in the Andrew Lloyd Weber penned show and is first cover for lead role 'Raoul', he can be seen on the following behind-the-scenes Youtube video, talking about the rehearsals and how he feels about the show so far...

Dean currently starring in La Cage Aux Folles
and lands role in Sir Andrew Lloyd-Webber's Love Never Dies for 2010!

Dean is currently starring in La Cage Aux Folles in London's West End alongside John Barrowman, at the Playhouse Theatre.

This musical tells the story of the idyllic existence of Partners Georges (Simon Burke) and Albin (Barrowman) - owners of 'La Cage Aux Folles' Nightclub - which is threatened when Georges’ son, Jean-Michele (Gabriele Vick), announces his engagement to the daughter of a right-wing politician, who wants to close down the local colourful nightlife! With a visit from the prospective in-laws imminent, they all decide to take drastic action to hide their lifestyle...

It has also been confirmed that Dean will be first cover for lead role Raoul in the exciting new project Love Never Dies, Sir Andrew Lloyd-Webber's sequal to the hit musical Phantom of the Opera!

Rehearsals for this begin in January and the show opens on the West End at the Adelphi Theatre on 9th March 2010 (Previews from 20th February 2010).

Dean makes appearance at his old school for celebration!

Dean recently made a surprise appearance at a Gala Concert held by his old school Burscough Priory Science College, to celebrate the Headteacher, Mr Leighton's 24 years in the post.

According to the school website: "Several past pupils surprised Mr Leighton by their attendance and, in particular, we were thrilled to welcome Dean Chisnall back to the Priory stage. Currently, Dean is rehearsing for a role in ‘La Cage Aux Folles’ before he joins the cast of Andrew Lloyd Weber’s sequel to Phantom of the Opera. His performances were just incredible and everyone couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride in his achievements"

30th July 2009 // Dean to star in La Cage Aux Folles.

According to his agents website, Dean is soon to start work on La Cage Aux Folles! There are no further details available just yet, such as which part he is to play or when he starts but keep checking back for updates. In the meantime, Congratulations Dean!

Dean finishes run as 'Prince Charming' in Cinderella.

Dean has just finished a successful run as 'Prince Charming' in pantomime Cinderella at the Royal Centre in Nottingham. Dean has played the part for 2 years running.

Dean to play 'Prince Charming' in 'Cinderella' at the Royal Centre, Nottingham.

Dean can currently be seen, alongside Brian Conley and former Never Forget cast mate Eaton James, in the pantomime 'Cinderella' at the Royal Centre in Nottingham! Dean will be playing the role of 'Prince Charming' until 18th January 2009. The show has opened to some very favourable reviews so get booking now, tickets are selling fast! Never Forget Nominated in the Whats On Stage Awards!

Never Forget, the musical in which Dean starred with the leading role as Ash Sherwood, has been nominated for the "Best New Musical" award in the WhatsonStage 2009 awards. Please vote for this fantastic musical, and give it the recognition it deserves - Dean and the rest of the cast worked very hard to make the show what it was and it would mean a great deal to recieve this award in return. Dean featured on West End Performers CD recording of songs from the Musicals.

The CD is called 'Act One: Songs from the musicals'. Dean sings on a song called 'The Threshold Of Her Heart' which he performs with Sabrina Aloueche. The CD can be purchased from the Dress Circle Shop
