In 2008 Dean was invited to sing on the CD recording of Act One: Songs from the Musicals of Alexander S. Bermange. Dean performs the beautiful ballad 'The Threshold Of Her Heart' alongside West End star Sabrina Aloueche.
No less than 26 leading ladies and men from West End musicals joined forces to record ACT ONE, a CD of songs from all of Alexander’s shows. The 20-track album boasts sleeve notes by triple Oscar-winning lyricist and long-time champion of Alexander’s writing Sir Tim Rice, and is produced by one of the most experienced and respected musical forces in London’s West End and on British television, Mike Dixon.
